Project description - This residential development provided 12 general needs housing units for a national housing association, within the grounds of the former Pencaran Club. As the site is in a conservation area the scale and appearance of the design is sensitive to the surrounding area. There is a strong emphasis on the environmental design of this scheme; incorporating heat recovery systems, solar water heating, sustainable construction methods, locally sourced materials and ecological enhancements such as wildlife provisions and bio-diverse planting.
